The main house, which may also be rented with the 1-bedroom guest house, is situated at the end of an 800-ft driveway on top of a hill. To capture the best views, the main living area is on the upper level. It includes the living/dining great room, kitchen, master bedroom and bath, laundry and screened porch. . The porch, with 18-ft.-ceilings, enjoys a nice valley view. Exterior stairs lead to a "widow's walk" rooftop lookout.On the lower level, there's a queen bedroom suite with a spacious, sunny bedroom and a beautifully tiled bath. The spacious living/dining Great Room has a soaring 18-foot cathedral ceiling and lighting that is programmed for various activities. The views above are from dining area toward the kitchen and arched opening to master bedroom. Dine at the roomy maple dining table or eat informally at the spacious island counter or on the screen porch. Enjoy the quality audio system or watch satellite TV and videos. (Bring your CDs, DVDs and video tapes.) The TV is also a monitor for Mac computer
The 600-sq.-ft. Guest House has ceiling fans and operable skylights that usually keep the home comfortable in summer but, if needed, the home has whisper-quiet air conditioning. The Living Room entertainment center includes a stereo, 42” LCD TV, DVD/CD player, PC computer and DIRECTV satellite receiver. The dining room, which has maple butcher block dining table for four, enjoys a nice view.The Loft Bedroom has a closet, a small desk, dresser, small closet and queen platform bed. A queen-size sleep sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping suitable for a child or two. The compact, but family-tested Kitchen features a tiled floor, brick-red concrete countertop, a premium quality gas range, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, coffeemaker, plenty of storage, cooking utensils and dishes. Sorry, no dishwasher. The Bathroom has a tile floor and shower, pedestal sink, aromatic cedar walls and speaker. Outdoors, there’s an open shower on a small private deck, outdoor dining table and chairs on a stone patio, and a gas grill.
