"The Inlets Lifestyle"...not just a place to park your sandals! Everyone is welcome to join in on the community parties, game nights, BYOB's, boat flotillas, etc. Nokomis is a community located just north of Venice and South of Osprey on US 41, also known as "The Trail" or "The Tamiami Trail" (Tampa to Miami). US 41 runs north and south through Nokomis, very near the bay.
On the east side of Nokomis is I-75, allowing easy access from Tampa or Fort Myers. From The Inlets back gate, you will be approximately one mile to Casey Key and one of the most beautiful beaches on the West Coast. Waterfront eateries are tucked into every nook within less than a mile. You can walk or bike ride to beaches, restaurants, shopping, banking, even the video store.
The Inlets is located very close to I-75 and are minutes to the arts, theatre, museums, fishing, fine dining, exclusive shops and all the charm and allure that Sarasota has to offer. One more reason why you will want to come to Nokomis is that EVERY WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT on the beach is "drums by the sunset" which you have to experience in order to appreciate the beauty of it.
Anyone who has a drum... any kind of drum... will bring it to the beach where a big group of local drummers drum their drums until the sun sets (starting an hour before sundown). There you will find locals and tourists alike dining in the sand, playing in the sand and dancing in the sand.
All of that coupled with the great SUNSET and the beat of the drums is an amazing experience... ENJOY IT...WE DO! For those of you wanting to collect shark teeth, Venice beach is only one mile south. The shark teeth cover the shoreline and people come from all over the world to collect them! The historical downtown Venice is only two miles south and provides quaint antique shops.
Siesta Key and the Village is only 20 minutes north, as is Sarasota's Main Street which features many restaurants and shops. Visit Saint Armands Circle 35 minutes north for more great shopping and restaurants! Disney World and all of the other Orlando attractions are just 2 hours away!
Utilities are included as well as all Florida Taxes, with the exception of electricity at a $100.00 per month cap, and $100. cleaning.. Why not escape for 6 months and pay only $2,000. per month .....That is $12,000 for 6 months in one of the most sought after areas in the entire world!
