Our furnished home is available beginning 8/1/10 for $1550 per month. It's in the very popular "West Highland" area, also known as "Berkeley", which is in the NW corner of Denver. It's about 7 minutes from the middle of downtown Denver - the center for theater, culture and urban fun in Denver. It's also the closest you can get to the ski resorts for skiing or Boulder and still be in the City of Denver.
Included: Utilities, WIFI, Basic Cable and TWO CATS (the best cats in the world!)
This is a wonderfully cozy one-story home on a quiet well-kept street in Northwest Denver, with mature trees in front and back and a hot tub in the back yard. It has all the good appliances – dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc. There are 3 bedrooms, two full baths, an office, and 2 living rooms, kitchen and dining room. Full laundry facilities are available in the laundry room downstairs.
There are many very cool restaurants and a Sunflower Market (health food store) within walking distance, even in the winter (under 7 blocks). And many more restaurants exactly one mile away at the famous, unique shopping area called Highland Square at 32nd and Lowell.
Our cats Grigio and Latte are very social beings and would really appreciate some cat-loving company while we’re away. They love to do the Sunday crossword and are a big help with any computer work you might have to work on. We have great neighbors and have helped feed them in the past, but the “kids” miss the occasional handout of feta cheese or peanut butter in dinner preparation. The neighbors would also be helpful for any problems you might have.
